DNEL ATELIER Co., Ltd. (the "Company," "we," "us," or "our") establishes this Privacy Policy (this "Policy") to explain how we handle user information in connection with our mobile application "Clinica" (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information in order to provide the Service.

(1) Information you provide

• Account information: Email address; identifiers and display names when linking external accounts (Apple / Google). If you use the Service as a guest, only an anonymous internal identifier is collected

• Profile information: Nickname, date of birth, gender, region, etc. (optional)

• Health and beauty records: Skin condition logs, skincare logs, treatment history, mood logs, menstrual cycle records (optional), and information about products you use

• Posted content: Clinic reviews and similar content

• Inquiry details

• Photos and Skin Analysis Data: Face and skin images taken or uploaded through the skin check feature or AI consultation, and treatment progress photos (Before/After)

  Clínica lets you take or select photos of your face or skin for two optional, user-initiated features. We do NOT use facial recognition, and we do NOT create, collect, or store any biometric identifiers (such as faceprints or face templates). Your photos are never used to identify you.

  1. AI skin analysis (selfie). When you choose to run a skin analysis, the photo you capture is sent to our third-party AI provider, Google (Gemini API), solely to assess visible skin condition (such as moisture, oil, texture, and pores) and return non-identifying skin-condition scores and skincare suggestions. Before the photo is sent, the app shows a consent dialog naming this third party. This photo is processed only for the analysis and is NOT stored on Clínica's servers or in your account. Only the resulting numeric skin scores — not the photo — are saved to your account so you can track changes over time. Google processes the image as our service provider and does not use it to identify you.
  2. Before/after treatment photos (optional). If you choose to attach before/after photos to a treatment record, those images are stored privately in your own account (held by our cloud provider, Supabase; location/EXIF metadata removed; accessible only to you through short-lived signed links). They are visible only to you and are never shared with third parties or used for advertising.

  Retention and deletion. AI skin-analysis photos are not retained — they are used for the single analysis and then discarded. Before/after treatment photos are retained only until you delete them: you can delete an individual photo, delete the treatment record, or delete your entire account. Deleting your account permanently removes your stored photos and associated data.

  Device biometric unlock (Face ID / Touch ID). If you enable the optional app lock, authentication is performed entirely on your device by Apple's system (Face ID / Touch ID). Your biometric data never leaves your device and is never accessed, collected, transmitted, or stored by Clínica; we store only an on/off setting.

  We do not sell your photos and do not use them for advertising.

⚠️ Handling of sensitive information Information about your body, such as menstrual cycle records, is treated as highly sensitive. It is collected only when you enter it yourself and is never used for purposes other than those stated in this Policy.

(2) Information collected automatically

• Usage data: Feature usage history, point earning and redemption history, and number of AI feature uses
• Device and technical information: Device type, OS, language settings, app version, and crash logs
• Location information (optional): Location data used to display environmental information such as weather and pollen levels, and to show nearby clinics. You can revoke permission at any time in your device settings. If you decline, you can still use all features that do not rely on location
• Purchase information: Purchase, renewal, and cancellation status of paid plans (payments are processed by Apple; we do not collect credit card numbers or similar payment details)
